EGAS invites you to come and nurture your inner artist!
East Grinstead Art Society was founded by a group of enthusiastic amateur painters in 1983. Their aim was to promote art in East Grinstead and district by bringing together artists of various standards for mutual benefit.
Now established for over 40 years.

The Society meets twice each month during term time.
VENUE: EAST COURT, COLLEGE LANE, EAST GRINSTEAD, RH19 3LT.
DEMONSTRATIONS ON 2ND WEDNESDAY EACH MONTH IN THE MERIDIAN HALL 2-4 P.M.
WORKSHOPS ON 4TH WEDNESDAY EACH MONTH IN THE CRANSTON SUITE 2-4 P.M.
(Workshops are when we exchange ideas over tea/coffee and cakes!
Bring your own art materials for a practice session)
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP from April to April is only £35
VISITORS WELCOME at £5 per session
ANNUAL EXHIBITION is held at Glen View Community Centre, East Grinstead in the Summer
A selection of paintings by members is also hung for sale throughout the year at the
High Street Dental Surgery, East Grinstead.
